Huawei is taking full advantage of its cloud computing and smart devices to grow sales revenue each year. On the other hand, Samsung’s profit plunged in 2014 as compared to 2013. The announcement was made by Huawei CEO Ken Hu on official website that Huawei is expecting to hit $46 Billion sales revenue in 2014.
There were reports published that Huawei’s cell phone revenue increased by 33%, which is a huge success for the Chinese manufacturer. Lenovo is also working on increasing their smartphone division to compete in the market. Another Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi received a huge success in 2014.
The demand for low-price high-end smartphones are increasing due to stiff competition. Samsung and LG are working hard to keep their market share. Huawei and Xiaomi are giving tough time to many top smartphone manufacturers.
We have seen Nokia and BlackBerry losing a huge portion of market share in smartphone wars. Once they were the top leaders of the industry, but Android based smartphones has thrown out the two giants. Microsoft if also focusing on introducing low-end Windows smartphones.
We predict that 2015 would bring more success to Lenovo, Xiaomi and Huawei because of their strategy of making affordable smartphones with all the features. On the other hand, Samsung is working hard to improve their new Galaxy S6 Series to be a success.
