After the mounting success stemming from the sales of Cupertino tech company’s large screen iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, Apple is looking to tone down the large screen feature of its iPhones and rumored to be working on a 4 inch device that it will be planning to release in 2015. According to G for Games, the company is bringing in the smaller form factor back in to the phone industry as it will simplify the use for using the device with a single hand.
While the larger screen iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus might prove to be difficult to use for a single hand operation, no one can deny the comfort level being brought to the table thanks to these larger screen devices. According to the information source, the 4 inch phone might make its way during the second half of 2015 and will be primarily targeted to women, who possess an overall smaller palm area. Even if Apple does not introduce the brand new 4 inch iPhone, the company will still have its previous flagship device; the iPhone 5s being sold at retailers.
Due to slumped sales of the iPhone 5c, Apple will be discontinuing its production and focus more on producing its larger screen devices. In our opinion, what Apple should be focusing on is tapping another firm that will be able to mass produce synthetic sapphire sheets for the company. After GT Advanced Technologies could not cope with the massive requirement, it declared bankruptcy, forcing Apple’s hand to retain the shatterproof display for its current lineup of products.
Furthermore, seeing as how the sales record of the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus surpassed the sales count of the 4 inch iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c, there would be no point in consuming materials and other resources in rolling out a smaller screen iPhone. Do you feel that Apple should continue working on how to make its larger screen size devices better in the near future? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
