HTC’s Phone Codenamed Hima Could be Company’s Flagship Device

HTC Codename HimaAfter the success of the HTC One M8, HTC is gearing up to release its upcoming flagship device, which has been codenamed Hima. Earlier leaks indicated that HTC’s upcoming flagship offering would be retaining the 5 inch screen size, while others were leaning on the device sporting a phablet sized form factor. Now, it has been stated that HTC Codename Hima will be possessing a 5.2 inch screen.

While there are more leaks waiting to be released, it cannot be confirmed whether the 5.2 inch screen information has been taken from an authentic source. Regardless, if the device does sport the above mentioned screen size, then it will prove to be a welcome feature, seeing as how a 5.5 inch screen size would end up delivering a slight encumbrance for users who possess a small palm size.

There were also speculations hovering about that the upcoming flagship device will be equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 805 chipset. While the chipset possesses a formidable processor, it will be considered obsolete, seeing as how several devices, notably the Galaxy Note 4 and Nexus 6 are already running it. Smartphone enthusiasts will be looking forward to Snapdragon 810 SoC running a 64 bit quad core processor. Supplementing the processor will be the chip maker’s Adreno 430 GPU.

In addition, the smartphone is also expected to be radiating a 1440p display and a massive 3,500 mAh battery, which should provide sufficient amount of juice when navigating across such a high density resolution. One primary reason why HTC’s devices are still coveted amongst the mass smartphone users is because the company spares no expense when incorporating a premium design to its mobile device. This results in reinforcing the overall structure of the device as well as giving it an embellished look. We believe that ever since HTC launched the One M8, the company’s success will be repeated with the release of its upcoming device.
