LG G Flex 2 is powered by the new 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor. LG unveils the new G Flex 2 at CES 2015. The new 5.5 inch device comes with Android 5.0, which looks better than the old G Flex. LG has reduced the screen size from 6.0 inch to 5.5 in G Flex 2 that makes it more practical to use. It also features the self-healing back protection that protects against scratches and usage.
The device looks practical to use with curved surface, while Samsung is working on edged screens. LG shifting its focus on introducing curved screen smartphone. The curves are not only for the design, but for practical use making the device microphone bringing closer to the mouth during the call.
The display quality is better as it boasts 1080 Full HD display as compared to 720 display in the first generation. It uses the same camera as the LG G3, which is bit of a disappointment because Samsung has already introduced 16 megapixel cameras in Galaxy S5 and Note 4.
It is one of the fastest smartphones available in the market and the first one to use Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor. It also features curved 3000mAh battery to keep your device last long for the full-day.
LG G Flex 2 is expected to be available at the end of the month in Korea in two vibrant colors; Platinum Silver and Flamenco Red. We might see more color editions in future for the new smartphone.
The rear camera is same as the LG G3, 13 megapixel with OIS and Laser auto focus and front 2.1 megapixel camera. Surprisingly, LG is using 2GB DDR4 RAM instead of 3GB as other high-end devices. You can extend the storage upto 2TB using the MicroSD card and 16GB and 32GB standard storage. It features a new powerful 2.0 Ghz 64-bit Octa-Cora processor by Qualcomm, making it the first smartphone to use the monster processor.
We were expecting a better camera because the 13 megapixel shooter in LG G3 was behind Samsung Galaxy S5. However, the camera is reasonable and the core feature of the new G Flex 2 is curved screen and Octa-Core processor.
It is no doubt one of the smartest and stylish looking devices introduced in the market. It looks more practical than the first generation.
