Earlier today, the alleged Microsoft Lumia 435 pictures and specifications were leaked confirming that there is a new entry level Windows powered device is coming. It has recently paid a visit to FCC and certified in Indonesia showing FCC certification. There are different variants of the device are available RM-1070, RM-1071, RM-1034, RM-1068 and the RM-1032 including the dual SIM based option.
It is an entry level device featuring a 4 inch screen and 480 x 800 display. However, it shows that Microsoft want to leverage more by introducing the low-end Windows powered smartphones. The Nokia Microsoft Lumia 520 is the best-selling Windows smartphone and this new device looks a successor. It is powered by Snapdragon 200 CPU and with 5 megapixel camera. The dimensions of the new device is 118.1 mm x 64.7 mm almost similar to Lumia 520.
The FCC testing shows that it will be powered by a BV-5J battery that is exclusive for Lumia 435. According to the reports, there was a shipment of 10 BV-5J batteries for company use only and ten shipments for dual-SIM smartphones that were shipped to India for testing purposes.
The launch date is not yet revealed, but we are expecting the device to be available in second quarter of 2015. The price of the device may be starting under $100 on different offers.
Microsoft is slow in introducing new Lumia phones after dumping Nokia name from Lumia devices. They are looking to capture the low-end smartphone market before introducing the high-end smartphones.
