Build Front/back glass, stainless steel frame

With the help of the glass back and front, the iPhone X has beaten every iPhone that came before. The stainless-steel rims on the sides gives a premium look when held in hands. This iPhone X has opened ways for Apple to bring their finest to the end-user. With IP67 certification, Apple promises to protect the phone from water and dust resistance up to a meter and half an hour (that’s huge!). Apple has stated on their site that they used highest quality unbreakable glass available in the market.

Type Super AMOLED touchscreen, 16 Million colors
Screen Size 5.8” inch
Resolution 1125 x 2436 pixels
Protection Oleophobic coating, scratch resistant glass

We have always been fans of iPhones display and brightness since iPhone 2G. Apple has not kept up with its promise time and again, with the enhanced and new 5.8-inch 458ppi Retina display, where the True-tone technology and 3D Touch display is playing its role, giving the iPhone X screen crisp colors and best brightness when held from different angles. Moreover, iPhone X also features HDR 10 Compliant Dolby Vision and Wide color gamut display.

Back (Primary) 12 MP + 12 MP DUAL
Front (Selfie) 7 MP

The iPhone X camera is very similar to iPhone 8 camera. The camera is a Dual 12 megapixels and can be used with wide-angle lens that optimizes and stabilizes the image. And that is the reason zoomed pictures are so crisp that you won’t be able to differentiate whether the picture was zoomed or not. Photos taken in dark are phenomenal as well with the help of its very bright flash. Sunlight pictures are outstanding as well, however, when compared to Google 2 Pixel XL, the camera of iPhone X is not that strong. The front portrait camera is a 7MP. The front flash (a pleasure for selfie fans) gives a bright exposure, saturation and hue to the picture. The photo taking process is snappy, all thanks to the Apple Bionic chip.

Hardware Performance

Chipset Apple A11 Bionic
CPU Hexa-core 2.39 GHz (2x Monsoon + 4x Mistral)
GPU Apple GPU (three-core graphics)

Apple’s handsets had always been fast. But honestly, the iPhone X is truly fast. With the launch of iOS 11.1, the Hexa-Core 2.39 GHz runs smooth enough along with the triple core Apple GPU. Whether you browse, zoom, capture, play or write, you won’t ever feel a slightest lag or deduction in performance. The iPhone X, as its predecessors, does not have a memory card slot and comes in only 64 GB and 256 GB models.

Final Verdict

This was the most honest iPhone X Review and we think that iPhone X is worth every cent, even if it is the most expensive phone ($999). Battery timings are stupendous, and one could take out a day and a half easily. Apple Pay and Face ID features are not to miss. Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is close match, but the class of iPhone X users will always stay different. One other phone to mention here is the Google Pixel 2 XL, with a better camera and light on pockets.
